Promote Farm Safety Through Progressive Farmer
Since 1998, manufacturers of rotary cutters and post hole diggers have joined together each year to promote the safe operation of their equipment through a full-page safety message published in the September issue of Progressive Farmer. Timed to coincide with National Farm Safety & Health Week, this annual campaign demonstrates the industry’s shared commitment to farm safety while reaching more than 276,000 readers nationwide.
The annual safety message features equipment-specific operating warnings and safety illustrations, along with recognition of the manufacturers who participate each year. Participating in this initiative offers numerous benefits:
- Demonstrating their company’s commitment to farm safety.
- Increasing brand visibility in the September issue of Progressive Farmer.
- Supporting an industry-wide initiative during National Farm Safety & Health Week.
- Helping educate equipment owners and operators on the safe use of rotary cutters and post hole diggers.
- Standing alongside fellow manufacturers in promoting safe equipment operation.
The Association coordinates the insertion order, but participating manufacturers share the cost of placing the ad in the magazine. Examples of previous safety messages are available on the Councils page of the FEMA website.
