Deere Buys Software Firm
John Deere has acquired Harvest Profit, a farm management software firm that helps farmers analyze their data and better understand the financial outcomes of their decisions.
鈥淭his software will provide John Deere customers with a forward-looking financial lens, better visibility into their farms鈥 profitability, and insights to help them make the best possible decisions managing their operations,鈥 said Deere鈥檚 Lane Arthur, vice president, data, application, and analytics.
The current software will continue to be available through the John Deere Operations Center.
Harvest Profit was founded in 2015. It will retain its brand name.
