Osmundson CEO Heather Bruce, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear and local leadership from Mayfield and Graves County, KY. recently held a groundbreaking ceremony at the planned site for Osmundson’s second production facility.

The plant will produce disc, coulter and seeder blades to meet the demands of Osmundson’s partners in the agriculture and construction markets. Th company will continue to produce disc blades and ag implements from its headquarters in Perry, IA where it has operated for 120 years.

Osmundson is a fifth-generation, family-owned manufacturer of tillable blades and cultivation tools. Founded in 1903 as Osmundson Spade, it currently employs approximately 100 employees at its 142,000-square-foot headquarters and production facility in Perry, Iowa.

Yanmar Compact 婷婷激情五月天 North America (Yanmar CE North America), encompassing the Yanmar Compact 婷婷激情五月天 and ASV brands, breaks ground on a 32,000-square-foot expansion to its Grand Rapids, Minnesota facility. The expansion will greatly increase manufacturing capacity and allow for  to be manufactured alongside .

Yanmar CE North America kicked off the project during an event on June 2 celebrating the Yanmar Compact 婷婷激情五月天 and ASV brand histories and the company鈥檚 employees. More than 500 people attended.

鈥淲e鈥檝e talked a lot about expansion plans over the past year to our customers, dealers and those we visited with at CONEXPO, so it is thrilling to break ground and see those plans come to fruition,鈥� said Tate Johnson, president of Yanmar CE North America. 鈥淭his project is ultimately about better serving our customers, both through expanded manufacturing capabilities and increased staffing to make sure their needs are met.鈥�

The expansion will allow for the manufacturing of Yanmar鈥檚 recently announced compact track loaders while continuing to manufacture ASV compact track loaders at the same facility. Additionally, company executives project the addition of hundreds of jobs over the next five years.

The new section will house a paint system that will increase paint capacity by up to three times. It will also boost parts manufacturing capacity by up to two times in the previously occupied space. The new powder paint system will be more efficient and have less environmental impact.
