Kanicki joined Lessiter Media in 2005 as editor for Farm 婷婷激情五月天 and Ag 婷婷激情五月天 Intelligence, which was then called Ag Industry Watch.

鈥淗e has been a good friend and outstanding resource to the industry and to this Association,鈥� said Executive Vice President Vernon Schmidt. 鈥淲e wish him much happiness in his retirement.鈥�

Succeeding Kanicki is Kim Schmidt, a familiar face through the company鈥檚 On the Record broadcast and her work with Farm 婷婷激情五月天. Schmidt has been named executive editor of Ag 婷婷激情五月天 Intelligence.

In a farewell column in AEI, Kanicki thanked farm equipment dealers and manufacturers for their work and encouragement and extended a special thanks to the Lessiter family.

鈥淏ehind the growth of our dealer publications and Ag 婷婷激情五月天 Intelligence has been Frank Lessiter, who along with his wife Pam, founded Lessiter Media in 1981,鈥� he wrote. 鈥淭he spark that ignited the company鈥檚 expansion during the past 15 years has been Mike Lessiter. I鈥檝e always said that I could be a good lieutenant if I鈥檓 reporting to a good captain. Mike has been more than just a good captain during my stint with the company.鈥�

Kanicki wrote that in spite of the growth of the media company and the industry, there is still much to do to confront challenges in the farm equipment business.

鈥淭hat鈥檚 what Winston Churchill said following a big victory in World War II and knowing that many battles were still ahead before the war would be over: 鈥楾his is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.鈥欌��
