The Agri Star II was developed in close collaboration with farmers to address their most pressing needs. Its standout feature, Stratified Layer Technology (SLT), ensures consistent performance throughout the tire鈥檚 lifespan. Each lug of the tire is designed with two layers of different angles: as the top layer wears down, the bottom layer comes into action, maintaining superior traction even after 40% of the tread is worn.

The 1 million Agri Star II tires sold milestone comes as Alliance celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2025. For seven decades, Alliance has been at the forefront of agricultural tire innovation, delivering purpose-built solutions that empower farmers to achieve more.

AGCO recognized Alliance for performance in cost, collaboration, innovation, account management, coordination and flexibility. AGCO noted that Alliance鈥攖he only tire supplier recognized during the event鈥攅xhibited strong coordination and alignment with AGCO, and improved factory efficiency.

Domenic Mazzola, vice president of engineering and OE sales for Alliance Tire Americas, said collaborating with customers is a cornerstone of the company鈥檚 approach.

John Shouse, a strategic commodity manager for AGCO, said that among its partnerships with Alliance Tire was work on a recently introduced planter.

鈥淩ecognizing the critical impact of tire performance on crop roots and yield, AGCO enlisted a vast amount of ATG members around the world to design tires that would bring as much innovation to planting as the planter itself,鈥� Shouse said.

The result, he said, was a planter with tires that 鈥渆xerts less pressure on the soil, which helps deliver higher yields to growers.鈥�
